The African International Congress (AIC) was held in Moscow on 5-6 April 2023.
Representatives of Intelmachine Company, headed by Mikhail Ignatov, CEO, were present at the forum.
The purpose of the event: to create a permanent platform for a working dialogue of the business community which has business interests on the African continent or is involved in organising trade and investment cooperation of African countries with Russia and Eurasian countries.
The main topics of the congress: priorities for Russian-African business cooperation today, the investment climate in African countries, cooperation in the humanitarian sphere as a driver of business development, and the creation of a unified African educational system and African International University.
The congress was attended by heads of diplomatic missions and trade representatives of African states, representatives of Russian authorities, heads of business associations of the African continent, representatives of Russian, African and international business circles, scientists, cultural and sport figures.
The congress is organised by an organising committee made up of politicians and representatives of the African and Russian business communities. The event is supported by Russian university graduates from African countries. According to Konstantin Klimenko, co-chairman of the congress and rector of the Eurasian International University, a package of agreements in trade, economic and investment spheres will be signed following the forum. Agreements in culture, sport, education and charity will also be concluded.
